Washed Out Announces More Tour Dates In Support ofParacosm
Collaborates With KEEP Footwear For Limited-Edition Shoe
(April 30th, 2014) Washed Out will resume his late spring & early summer tour schedule this May in support of his acclaimed second album, Paracosm. The next leg of touring begins with a performance on Saturday, May 24th in George, WA at Sasquatch and currently ends on Sunday, June 22nd in Dover, DE at the Firefly Festival. Highlights include: Sunday, June 1st in Houston, TX for Free Press Summer Fest; Friday, June 6th in New York, NY for Governors Ball; Sunday, June 8th in Toronto, ON for Field Trip; Friday, June 13th in Manchester, TN for Bonnaroo; Thursday, June 19th in Dufur, OR at WTF?! Washed Out won over audiences at the sold-out Coachella weekends earlier this month. The Nerdistsaid of the set, “He played “New Theory” and “Feel It All Around” with beautiful live-show arrangements we weren’t used to on his record. It reminded me of how The National does it. Paracosm is now available in North America on Sub Pop and in Europe via Weird World. The album, featuring the singles (and videos) for “All I Know,” “It All Feels Right,” and “Don’t Give Up,” was recorded by Ernest Greene with returning producer Ben Allen in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia.
